ऋषिर्मायानुसारेण स्त्रिया योनिं प्रवेशितः ॥ ततो विष्णोर्वचः श्रुत्वा श्रोतुकामा वसुन्धरा ॥
ṛṣir māyānusāreṇa striyā yoniṃ praveśitaḥ || tato viṣṇor vacaḥ śrutvā śrotukāmā vasundharā
മായാനുസാരമായി ഒരു ഋഷിയെ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. തുടർന്ന് വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ വചനം കേട്ട വസുന്ധര (ഭൂമി) കൂടുതൽ കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
