The Thirty-Two Offenses: Rules of Purity and Proper Conduct in Worship

अपराधेषु षड्विंशं कल्पयामि वसुन्धरे ॥ नवान्नं यस्तु भक्षेत न देवान्न पितॄन् यजेत् ॥

aparādheṣu ṣaḍviṃśaṃ kalpayāmi vasundhare || navānnaṃ yas tu bhakṣeta na devān na pitṝn yajet ||

ഹേ വസുന്ധരേ, അപരാധങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുപത്താറാമത് ഇതാണ്—പുതുതായി പാകം ചെയ്ത അന്നം ഭുജിക്കുന്നവൻ ദേവപൂജയും പിതൃതർപ്പണാദി കർമ്മങ്ങളും അവഗണിക്കരുത്।
