गुरुसम्पूजको नित्यं युक्तो भक्तानुवत्सलः ॥ वैश्योऽप्येवं सुसंयुक्तो यस्तु कर्माणि कारयेत् ॥

ഗുരുവിനെ നിത്യം സമ്യകായി പൂജിക്കുകയും, സംയമനിഷ്ഠനായി, ഭക്തന്മാരോടു വാത്സല്യമുള്ളവനായി ഇരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന—ഇങ്ങനെ സുസംയുക്തനായ വൈശ്യനും വിധിച്ച കര്‍മങ്ങൾ നടത്തിപ്പിക്കണം.
