असावपि स्वशिष्याय प्रादादुग्राय धारिणि ॥ उग्रोऽपि मनवे प्रादादेष वः कीर्तितो मया ॥
asāv api svaśiṣyāya prādād ugrāya dhāriṇi || ugro'pi manave prādād eṣa vaḥ kīrtito mayā ||
അവനും, ഹേ ധാരിണി (ഭൂമിയേ), തന്റെ ശിഷ്യനായ ഉഗ്രനു അത് നൽകി; ഉഗ്രനും മനുവിനു നൽകി—ഇതു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.
