Navanīta-Dhenu
अथ नवनीतधेनुदानमाहात्म्यम् ॥ होतोवाच ॥ नवनीतमयीं धेनुं शृणु राजन् प्रयत्नतः ॥ यां श्रुत्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मुच्यते नात्र संशयः
atha navanītadhenudānamāhātmyam || hotovāca || navanītamayīṃ dhenuṃ śṛṇu rājan prayatnataḥ || yāṃ śrutvā sarvapāpebhyo mucyate nātra saṃśayaḥ
ഇപ്പോൾ നവനീത-ധേനുദാനത്തിന്റെ മഹാത്മ്യം പറയുന്നു. ഹോതൃ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ രാജാവേ, പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ നവനീതമയമായ ധേനുവിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ശ്രവിക്ക; അത് കേട്ടാൽ സർവ്വപാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു മോചനം ലഭിക്കും, സംശയമില്ല.
