अथ जलधेनुदानविधिः ॥ होतोवाच ॥ जलधेनुं प्रवक्ष्यामि पुण्येऽह्नि विधिपूर्वकम् ॥ गोचर्ममात्रं भूभागं गोमयेनोपलेपयेत्

ഇപ്പോൾ ജലധേനു-ദാനവിധി. ഹോതൃ പറഞ്ഞു: പുണ്യദിനത്തിൽ വിധിപൂർവം ജലധേനുവിനെ ഞാൻ വിശദീകരിക്കും. ഗോചർമ്മമാത്രമായ ഭൂഭാഗം ഗോമയത്തോടെ ലേപിക്കണം.
