मेरुपर्वतमारोह्य देवगन्धर्वदानवान् । गुह्यकान् किं नरान् दैत्यान्स्ततो ब्रह्मसुतो मुनिः । नारदो दुर्जयजयम् देवराजाय शंसत ॥ १०.३८ ॥

മേരു പർവതത്തിൽ आरोഹണം ചെയ്ത ബ്രഹ്മപുത്ര മുനി നാരദൻ അവിടെ ദേവന്മാർ, ഗന്ധർവർ, ദാനവർ, ഗുഹ്യകർ, മനുഷ്യർ, ദൈത്യർ എന്നിവരെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്ത് ദേവരാജ ഇന്ദ്രനോട് “ദുര്ജയന്റെ ജയം” എന്ന വാർത്ത അറിയിച്ചു।
