यथा वा चित्तसामर्थ्यं जायते योगिनो ध्रुवम् ।
दूरश्रुतिर्दूरदृष्टिः क्षणाद्दूरगमस्तथा ॥
वाक्सिद्धिः कामरूपत्वमदृश्यकरणी तथा ।
मलमूत्रप्रलेपेन लोहादेः स्वर्णता भवेत् ॥
खे गतिस्तस्य जायेत सन्तताभ्यासयोगतः ।
सदा बुद्धिमता भाव्यं योगिना योगसिद्धये ॥
एते विघ्ना महासिद्धेर्न रमेत्तेषु बुद्धिमान् ।
न दर्शयेत्स्वसामर्थ्यं यस्यकस्यापि योगिराट् ॥
यथा । वा । चित्त-सामर्थ्यम् । जायते । योगिनः । ध्रुवम् ।
दूर-श्रुतिः । दूर-दृष्टिः । क्षणात् । दूर-गमः । तथा ।
वाक्-सिद्धिः । काम-रूपत्वम् । अदृश्य-करणी । तथा ।
मल-मूत्र-प्रलेपेन । लोह-आदेः । स्वर्णता । भवेत् ।
खे । गतिः । तस्य । जायेत् । सन्तत-अभ्यास-योगतः ।
सदा । बुद्धि-मता । भाव्यम् । योगिना । योग-सिद्धये ।
एते । विघ्नाः । महा-सिद्धेः । न । रमेत्तेषु । बुद्धिमान् ।
न । दर्शयेत् । स्व-सामर्थ्यम् । यस्य-कस्य-अपि । योगि-राट् ।
yathā vā cittasāmarthyaṃ jāyate yogino dhruvam |
dūraśrutir dūradṛṣṭiḥ kṣaṇād dūragamas tathā ||
vāksiddhiḥ kāmarūpatvam adṛśyakaraṇī tathā |
mala-mūtra-pralepena lohādeḥ svarṇatā bhavet ||
khe gatis tasya jāyet santatābhyāsayogataḥ |
sadā buddhimatā bhāvyaṃ yoginā yogasiddhaye ||
ete vighnā mahāsiddher na ramet teṣu buddhimān |
na darśayet svasāmarthyaṃ yasyakasyāpi yogirāṭ ||
യോഗിയുടെ ചിത്തസാമർത്ഥ്യം നിശ്ചയമായി ഉദിക്കുന്നതനുസരിച്ച് ദൂരശ്രവണം, ദൂരദർശനം, ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ദൂരഗമനം എന്നിവയും സംഭവിക്കും; വാക്സിദ്ധി, ഇഷ്ടരൂപധാരണശക്തി, അദൃശ്യമാകുന്ന കഴിവ് എന്നിവയും ലഭിക്കും. മലമൂത്രലേപംകൊണ്ട് ലോഹാദികൾ സ്വർണ്ണമാകുന്നതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്ന ശക്തിയും ഉണ്ടാകാം; നിരന്തര അഭ്യാസജന്യ യോഗം മൂലം ആകാശഗതിയും ജനിക്കും. യോഗസിദ്ധിക്കായി യോഗി സദാ വിവേകത്തോടെ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണം. ഇവ മഹാസിദ്ധിക്കുള്ള വിഘ്നങ്ങളാണ്; ജ്ഞാനി അവയിൽ രമിക്കരുത്. യോഗിരാജൻ തന്റെ ശക്തി ആരോടും പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കരുത്.
Indeed, in whatever way the yogin’s power of mind arises with certainty—(there may occur) far-hearing, far-seeing, and likewise going far in an instant; perfection of speech, the ability to assume any form, and also the power of making oneself invisible; by smearing (something) with excrement and urine, iron and the like may become gold; for him there may arise movement in the sky through yoga born of continuous practice. The yogin should always be prudent for the attainment of yogic perfection. These are obstacles to the great attainment; the wise should not delight in them. The lordly yogin should not display his powers to anyone whatsoever.
