Parabrahma
तस्मात् सर्वप्रयत्नेन मोक्षापेक्षी भवेद् यतिः । बहिःसूत्रं परित्यज्य स्वान्तःसूत्रं तु धारयेत् ॥१९॥
तस्मात् । सर्व-प्रयत्नेन । मोक्ष-अपेक्षी । भवेत् । यतिः । बहिः-सूत्रम् । परित्यज्य । स्व-अन्तः-सूत्रम् । तु । धारयेत् ॥१९॥
tasmāt sarvaprayatnena mokṣāpekṣī bhaved yatiḥ | bahiḥsūtraṃ parityajya svāntaḥsūtraṃ tu dhārayet ||19||
അതുകൊണ്ട് സകല ശ്രമത്തോടെയും യതി മോക്ഷം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവനായിരിക്കണം; ബാഹ്യ യജ്ഞോപവീതം (പൂണൂൽ) ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച്, സ്വാന്തരത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ആന്തരിക സൂത്രം—ആത്മസൂത്രം—നിശ്ചയമായി ധരിക്കണം.
Therefore, with every effort, the renunciate (yati) should become one who seeks liberation; having abandoned the external sacred thread, he should indeed bear the inner thread (the inward ‘sūtra’).
