Naadbindu

पादादिकं गुणास्तस्य शरीरं तत्त्वमुच्यते । धर्मोऽस्य दक्षिणश्चक्षुरधर्मो योऽपरः स्मृतः ॥२॥

पाद-आदिकम् । गुणाः । तस्य । शरीरम् । तत्त्वम् । उच्यते । धर्मः । अस्य । दक्षिणः । चक्षुः । अधर्मः । यः । अपरः । स्मृतः ।

pādādikaṁ guṇās tasya śarīraṁ tattvam ucyate | dharmo 'sya dakṣiṇaś cakṣur adharmo yo 'paraḥ smṛtaḥ ||2||

അതിന്റെ പാദാദികളെ അതിന്റെ ഗുണങ്ങളെന്ന് പറയുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശരീരം തത്ത്വമെന്നു പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു. അതിന്റെ ദക്ഷിണനേത്രം ധർമ്മം; മറ്റേതു നേത്രം അധർമ്മം എന്നു സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

Its feet and the rest are said to be its qualities; its body is declared to be the principle (tattva). Its right eye is dharma; the other, which is remembered, is adharma.
