Maitreya Upanishad 24 — Verse 24

sarvadā samarūpo 'smi śānto 'smi puruṣottamaḥ | evaṃ svānubhavo yasya so 'ham asmi na saṃśayaḥ ||24||

I am always of the same form; I am peaceful; (I am) the supreme Person. He whose own direct experience is thus—he is I; there is no doubt.

Samarūpatva (unchanging identity), śānti (peace), puruṣottama as highest Self; aparokṣānubhava (direct realization) and identity of knower with BrahmanMahavakya: Directly aligns with ‘tat tvam asi’ and ‘ahaṃ brahmāsmi’: the realized one’s immediate experience reveals identity with the supreme Self; also harmonizes with ‘ayam ātmā brahma’ by affirming the Self as the highest realityYajurKṛṣṇa-Yajurveda (Maitrāyaṇīya śākhā) ShakhaChandas: Anuṣṭubh (śloka-style)
