तत्कुर्यादविचारेण शिष्यः सन्तोषसंयुतः । हंसविद्यामिमां लब्ध्वा गुरुशुश्रूषया नरः ॥

Padapatha (Word Split)

तत् । कुर्यात् । अविचारेण । शिष्यः । सन्तोष-संयुतः । हंस-विद्याम् । इमाम् । लब्ध्वा । गुरु-शुश्रूषया । नरः ॥

IAST Transliteration

tat kuryād avicāreṇa śiṣyaḥ santoṣasaṃyutaḥ | haṃsavidyām imāṃ labdhvā guruśuśrūṣayā naraḥ ||

Translation

ആ ഉപദേശത്തെ ശിഷ്യൻ സന്തോഷസഹിതനായി വാദവിവാദപരമായ ചിന്തയില്ലാതെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കണം. ഗുരുശുശ്രൂഷയിലൂടെ ഈ ഹംസവിദ്യ ലഭിച്ച ശേഷം മനുഷ്യൻ—

Academic Translation

That (instruction) the disciple, endowed with contentment, should do without (contentious) deliberation. Having obtained this Haṃsa-knowledge through service to the guru, the man—
