Amritnada

रुचिरं रेचकं चैव वायोराकर्षणं तथा । प्राणायामस्त्रयः प्रोक्ता रेचपूरककुम्भकाः ॥१०॥

रुचिरम् । रेचकम् । च । एव । वायोः । आकर्षणम् । तथा । प्राणायामः । त्रयः । प्रोक्ताः । रेचक-पूరక-कुम्भकाः ॥१०॥

ruciraṃ recakaṃ caiva vāyor ākarṣaṇaṃ tathā | prāṇāyāmas trayaḥ proktā recapūraka-kumbhakāḥ ||10||

‘രുചിര’, കൂടാതെ രേചകം (ശ്വാസം പുറത്തുവിടൽ) എന്നും വായുവിന്റെ ആകർഷണം (ആകർഷണം/പൂരണം) എന്നും—പ്രാണായാമം മൂന്ന് എന്ന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു: രേചക, പൂരക, കുംഭക.

The ‘rucira’ and the exhalation (recaka), and likewise the drawing in of air (ākarṣaṇa); the breath-restraints are declared to be three: exhalation, inhalation (pūraka), and retention (kumbhaka).
