Akshi
सर्वमेकमजं शान्तमनन्तं ध्रुवमव्ययम्। पश्यन् भूतार्थचिद्रूपं शान्त आस्व यथासुखम्॥ अवेदनं विदुर्योगं चित्तक्षयमकृत्रिमम्। योगस्थः कुरु कर्माणि नीरसो वाथ मा कुरु॥२–३॥
सर्वम् । एकम् । अजम् । शान्तम् । अनन्तम् । ध्रुवम् । अव्ययम् । पश्यन् । भूत-अर्थ-चित्-रूपम् । शान्तः । आस्व । यथा-सुखम् । अवेदनम् । विदुः । योगम् । चित्त-क्षयम् । अकृत्रिमम् । योग-स्थः । कुरु । कर्माणि । नीरसः । वा । अथ । मा । कुरु ॥२–३॥
sarvam ekam ajaṃ śāntam anantaṃ dhruvam avyayam | paśyan bhūtārthacid-rūpaṃ śānta āsva yathāsukham || avedanaṃ vidur yogaṃ cittakṣayam akṛtrimam | yogasthaḥ kuru karmāṇi nīraso vātha mā kuru ||2–3||
സകലവും ഒന്നുതന്നെ—അജം, ശാന്തം, അനന്തം, ധ്രുവം, അവ്യയം. ഭूतങ്ങളുടെ സത്യത്തെ ചൈതന്യസ്വരൂപമായി കണ്ടു, ശാന്തനായി, യഥാസുഖം വസിക്ക. ജ്ഞാനികൾ യോഗത്തെ ‘അവേദനം’ എന്നും ചിത്തത്തിന്റെ സ്വാഭാവിക ക്ഷയം എന്നും അറിയുന്നു. യോഗസ്ഥനായി കർമ്മങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുക—ആസക്തിരഹിതമായി—അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക.
All is one—unborn, peaceful, infinite, firm, imperishable. Seeing the reality of beings as of the nature of consciousness, being tranquil, abide at ease. They know yoga to be non-sensation (avedana), the natural dissolution/waning of mind. Established in yoga, perform actions—without relish (dispassionately)—or else do not perform (them).
