tayordarśanamātreṇa sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate | harastena prabhāveṇa devāḥ prabalatejasaḥ
Agastya
Tirtha: Ayodhyā-darśana (Cakra-Hari and associated manifestation)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Two sacred manifestations stand together—Hari and his associated epiphany (e.g., Sudarśana/āyudha or paired forms); devotees’ faces brighten as a wave of light radiates outward, while devas in the sky regain blazing tejas.
Darśana (sacred seeing) is spiritually transformative; contact with the divine presence purifies and strengthens dharma.
Ayodhyā’s sacred locale associated with Gupta-Hari/Cakra-Hari is implied as granting pāpa-nāśa through darśana.
Darśana itself is presented as the efficacious act; no additional ritual steps are specified.
