प्रायश्चित्तेन विधिना पापं तस्य प्रणश्यति । तस्मादत्र प्रकर्त्तव्यं प्रायश्चित्तं विधानतः
prāyaścittena vidhinā pāpaṃ tasya praṇaśyati | tasmādatra prakarttavyaṃ prāyaścittaṃ vidhānataḥ
വിധിപൂർവ്വം ചെയ്ത പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ പാപം നശിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഇവിടെ ശാസ്ത്രവിധിപ്രകാരം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്.
