तिर्यगूर्ध्वमधो याति नैव याति न तिष्ठति । इति चित्रं चरित्रं ते भर्त्तुर्नान्यस्य दृश्यते
tiryagūrdhvamadho yāti naiva yāti na tiṣṭhati | iti citraṃ caritraṃ te bhartturnānyasya dṛśyate
അവൻ വശത്തേക്കും മേലേക്കും താഴേക്കും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവൻ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ‘പോകുന്നില്ല’, ഒരിക്കലും നിൽക്കുന്നുമില്ല. ഇതാണ് നിന്റെ ഭർത്താവായ പ്രഭുവിന്റെ അത്ഭുതകരമായ, വിരുദ്ധഭാസമായ ചരിതം—മറ്റാരിലും കാണപ്പെടാത്തത്॥
