प्रहरेन्न च विप्राय हत्वा शत्रून्न शेषयेत् । क्रोधं कुर्यान्न चाकस्मान्मृदुः स्यान्नापकारिषु
praharenna ca viprāya hatvā śatrūnna śeṣayet | krodhaṃ kuryānna cākasmānmṛduḥ syānnāpakāriṣu
ബ്രാഹ്മണനെ ഒരിക്കലും പ്രഹരിക്കരുത്; ശത്രുക്കളെ ജയിച്ച ശേഷം അവർ വീണ്ടും ഉയരാൻ ശേഷിപ്പിക്കരുത്. കാരണമില്ലാതെ കോപിക്കരുത്; ഉപദ്രവം ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടു അതിമൃദുവായിരിക്കയും അരുത്।
