सारस्वत उवाच । अथासौ नारदो देवं ज्ञात्वा शप्तं द्विजन्मना । भृगुणा च तथा पूर्वं नान्यथैतद्भविष्यति
sārasvata uvāca | athāsau nārado devaṃ jñātvā śaptaṃ dvijanmanā | bhṛguṇā ca tathā pūrvaṃ nānyathaitadbhaviṣyati
സാരസ്വതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ നാരദൻ, ദേവൻ ഒരു ദ്വിജൻ (ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ) ശപിച്ചതാണെന്നും, മുമ്പ് ഭൃഗുവും അതുപോലെ ശപിച്ചതാണെന്നും അറിഞ്ഞു; അതിനാൽ ‘ഇത് മറ്റെങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല’ എന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു।
