ब्राह्मणस्त्रीनरेंद्राणां बालवृद्धतपस्विनाम् । पितृमातृगुरूणां च नाप्रियं मनसा वदेत्
brāhmaṇastrīnareṃdrāṇāṃ bālavṛddhatapasvinām | pitṛmātṛgurūṇāṃ ca nāpriyaṃ manasā vadet
ബ്രാഹ്മണർ, സ്ത്രീകൾ, രാജാക്കന്മാർ, കുട്ടികൾ, വയോധികർ, തപസ്വികൾ—അതുപോലെ പിതാവ്, മാതാവ്, ഗുരു എന്നിവരോടും—മനസ്സിലും അപ്രീതികരമായ കടുത്ത വാക്കുകൾ പറയരുത്।
