ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീസ്കാന്ദ മഹാപുരാണത്തിലെ ഏകാശീതിസാഹസ്രീ സംഹിതയുടെ ഏഴാം പ്രഭാസഖണ്ഡത്തിൽ, ആദ്യ പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രമാഹാത്മ്യവും ഏകാദശരുദ്രമാഹാത്മ്യവും ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ‘നീലരുദ്രമാഹാത്മ്യവർണനം’ എന്ന എൺപത്തിയെട്ടാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
