भूतेशरुद्रं संपूज्य गच्छेद्वै मुक्तिमव्ययाम् । इति संक्षेपतः प्रोक्तमादि रुद्रस्य कीर्तनम् । कीर्तनीयं द्विजातीनां कीर्तितं पुण्यवर्द्धनम्
bhūteśarudraṃ saṃpūjya gacchedvai muktimavyayām | iti saṃkṣepataḥ proktamādi rudrasya kīrtanam | kīrtanīyaṃ dvijātīnāṃ kīrtitaṃ puṇyavarddhanam
ഭൂതേശ്വര-രുദ്രനെ സമ്യകമായി സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി പൂജിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ നിശ്ചയമായി അവ്യയമായ മോക്ഷം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ആദിരുദ്രന്റെ കീർത്തനം സംക്ഷേപമായി പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ഇത് ദ്വിജാതികൾ കീർത്തിക്കേണ്ടത്; കീർത്തിച്ചാൽ പുണ്യം വർധിക്കുന്നു.
