बभूव प्रवरो देवि सर्वदेवभयंकरः । कामरूपी स लोकांस्त्रीन्वशीकृत्वाऽभवत्सुखी
babhūva pravaro devi sarvadevabhayaṃkaraḥ | kāmarūpī sa lokāṃstrīnvaśīkṛtvā'bhavatsukhī
ഹേ ദേവി, അവൻ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായി, എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാർക്കും ഭയങ്കരനായി. ഇഷ്ടരൂപം ധരിക്കുന്നവനായ അവൻ ത്രിലോകവും വശപ്പെടുത്തി സുഖത്തോടെ വസിച്ചു.
