एवमुक्त्वाथ तैः सार्द्धमा जगाम जनार्द्दनः । दानवान्घातयामास स चक्रेण पृथक्पृथक्
evamuktvātha taiḥ sārddhamā jagāma janārddanaḥ | dānavānghātayāmāsa sa cakreṇa pṛthakpṛthak
ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് ജനാർദ്ദനൻ അവരോടൊപ്പം പോയി. അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ ചക്രം കൊണ്ട് ദാനവരെ ഓരോരുത്തരെയായി വധിച്ചുതുടങ്ങി.
