ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि शाकल्येश्वरमुत्तमम् । दैत्यसूदनवायव्ये धनुषां त्रिंशता स्थितम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi śākalyeśvaramuttamam | daityasūdanavāyavye dhanuṣāṃ triṃśatā sthitam
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അതിനുശേഷം, ഹേ മഹാദേവി, ദൈത്യസൂദനത്തിന്റെ വായവ്യ (വടക്ക്-പടിഞ്ഞാറ്) ദിശയിൽ മുപ്പത് ധനുസ്സിന്റെ അകലെയിരിക്കുന്ന ഉത്തമ ശാകല്യേശ്വരനെ സമീപിക്കണം।
