Transliteration

ṣaṇmukhena mahādevi tatra kṛtvā mahattapaḥ | pratiṣṭhitaṃ mahāliṃgaṃ kumāreśastato'bhavat

Translation

ഹേ മഹാദേവി! അവിടെ ഷൺമുഖൻ മഹത്തപസ് ചെയ്തു; തുടർന്ന് മഹാലിംഗം പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കപ്പെട്ടു, അതിനാൽ അത് ‘കുമാരേശ്വരൻ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമായി.
