हन्यमानोऽपि यो विद्वान्वसेद्विघ्नशतैरपि । कृतप्रतिज्ञो देवेशि यावज्जीवं सुरेश्वरि

hanyamāno'pi yo vidvānvasedvighnaśatairapi | kṛtapratijño deveśi yāvajjīvaṃ sureśvari

ഹേ ദേവേശീ, ഹേ സുരേശ്വരീ! ഇവിടെ വസിക്കുന്ന ജ്ഞാനി ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലും, നൂറുകണക്കിന് വിഘ്നങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലും, പ്രതിജ്ഞയിൽ ദൃഢനായി ജീവപര്യന്തം അചഞ്ചലനായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
