सूत उवाच । एवं तत्र तदा देवी श्रुत्वा माहात्म्यमुत्तमम् । हर्षोत्कंठितया वाचा पुनः पप्रच्छ शंकरम्
sūta uvāca | evaṃ tatra tadā devī śrutvā māhātmyamuttamam | harṣotkaṃṭhitayā vācā punaḥ papraccha śaṃkaram
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ അവിടെ ദേവി ആ ഉത്തമ മഹാത്മ്യം ശ്രവിച്ച്, ഹർഷവും ആകാംക്ഷയും നിറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകളോടെ വീണ്ടും ശങ്കരനോടു ചോദിച്ചു।
