ईश्वर उवाच । साधु पृष्टं त्वया देवि यद्गोप्यं स्वसुतेष्वपि । तत्तेऽहं संप्रवक्ष्यामि अप्रसिद्धागमोदितम्

īśvara uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā devi yadgopyaṃ svasuteṣvapi | tatte'haṃ saṃpravakṣyāmi aprasiddhāgamoditam

ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ദേവീ, നീ നല്ല ചോദ്യം ചോദിച്ചു; ഇത് സ്വന്തം പുത്രന്മാരിലും ഗൂഢമായ കാര്യമാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു അപരിചിതമായ ആഗമപരമ്പരയിൽ പറഞ്ഞതു വിശദീകരിക്കുന്നു.
