तच्च भूमौ निपतितं ततो भूभिसुतोऽभवत् । स प्रभासं ततो गत्वा बाल्यात्प्रभृति शंकरम्
tacca bhūmau nipatitaṃ tato bhūbhisuto'bhavat | sa prabhāsaṃ tato gatvā bālyātprabhṛti śaṃkaram
ആ അശ്രു ഭൂമിയിൽ പതിച്ചു; അതിൽ നിന്ന് ഭൂമിപുത്രൻ ജനിച്ചു. അവൻ പ്രഭാസത്തിലേക്ക് ചെന്നു, ബാല്യകാലം മുതൽ ശങ്കരനെ ഭക്തിയോടെ ആരാധിച്ചു.
