അവിടെ ഭൈരവേശ്വരരൂപം ധരിച്ച വാഡവാനലം കുംഭത്തിനുള്ളിൽ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ദേവി അതിനെ സമുദ്രസമീപത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു।
