tadguhyaṃ devadevasya tattīrthaṃ tattapovanam | tatra brahmādayo devā nārāyaṇapurogamāḥ
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sacred grove (tapovana) near the Prabhāsa coast; Brahmā and other devas stand in reverent rows, with Nārāyaṇa at the forefront; the ‘guhya’ sanctuary glows subtly, half-veiled by trees and incense haze.
Prabhāsa is framed as a divine ‘secret’ field where even the highest deities gather—affirming the supremacy of tīrtha and tapas joined together.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra (and its sacred precincts), described as the Devadeva’s guhya-tīrtha and tapovana.
Tapas-oriented residence and worship are implied through the designation “tapovana” (grove of austerity).
