इन्दुमत्युवाच । त्वं वेत्सि भगवन्सर्वमतीतानागतं विभो । पृच्छे त्वां कौतुकाविष्टा तस्मात्त्वं क्षंतुमर्हसि
indumatyuvāca | tvaṃ vetsi bhagavansarvamatītānāgataṃ vibho | pṛcche tvāṃ kautukāviṣṭā tasmāttvaṃ kṣaṃtumarhasi
ഇന്ദുമതി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ഭഗവൻ, ഹേ വിഭോ! നിങ്ങൾ ഭൂതവും ഭാവിയും ഉൾപ്പെടെ എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നു. കൗതുകത്തിൽ ആകുലയായി ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ചോദിക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ ദയവായി ക്ഷമിക്കണമേ.
