एवं मंक्याश्रमे येषां वसतां मृत्युरागतः । न ते मनुष्या देवास्ते सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते
evaṃ maṃkyāśrame yeṣāṃ vasatāṃ mṛtyurāgataḥ | na te manuṣyā devāste satyametadbravīmi te
ഇങ്ങനെ മങ്ക്യാശ്രമത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് മരണം വന്നാൽ, അവർ (വെറും) മനുഷ്യർ അല്ല—അവർ ദേവന്മാരാണ്. ഈ സത്യം ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പറയുന്നു.
