सिद्धेश्वरात्पुनस्तस्मात्प्रवृत्ता पश्चिमामुखी । पश्चिमं सागरं गंतुं सखीं स्मृत्वा रुरोद सा
siddheśvarātpunastasmātpravṛttā paścimāmukhī | paścimaṃ sāgaraṃ gaṃtuṃ sakhīṃ smṛtvā ruroda sā
അവൾ സിദ്ധേശ്വരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ്ടും പുറപ്പെട്ടു പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു മുഖം തിരിച്ചു. പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ സമുദ്രത്തിലേക്കു പോകാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു സഖിയെ ഓർത്ത് അവൾ കരഞ്ഞു.
