एवं संचिंतितो देव्या यदासावंभसांपतिः । तथा जलात्समुत्तीर्य समायातो महाद्युतिः
evaṃ saṃciṃtito devyā yadāsāvaṃbhasāṃpatiḥ | tathā jalātsamuttīrya samāyāto mahādyutiḥ
ദേവി ഇങ്ങനെ ചിന്തിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ജലങ്ങളുടെ അധിപതി (സമുദ്രൻ) ജലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉയർന്നു വന്നു; മഹാദ്യുതിയോടെ പ്രകാശിച്ച് സമീപത്തേക്ക് എത്തി.
