स्नात्वाऽग्नितीर्थे पूर्वं तां पूजयेद्विधिना नरः । दंपत्योर्भोजनं तत्र परिधानं सकञ्चु कम्

snātvā'gnitīrthe pūrvaṃ tāṃ pūjayedvidhinā naraḥ | daṃpatyorbhojanaṃ tatra paridhānaṃ sakañcu kam

ആദ്യം അഗ്നിതീർത്ഥത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് മനുഷ്യൻ വിധിപൂർവ്വം അവളെ പൂജിക്കണം. അവിടെ ദമ്പതികൾക്ക് ഭോജനവും വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും കഞ്ചുകം (അംഗവസ്ത്രം) ദാനമായി നൽകണം.
