gaṃdhadānena gaṃdhāptiḥ saubhāgyaṃ puṣpadānataḥ | dhūpadānena rājyāptirdīptirdīpapradānataḥ

ഗന്ധം ദാനം ചെയ്താൽ സുഗന്ധി (സൗമ്യത) ലഭിക്കുന്നു; പുഷ്പദാനത്താൽ സൗഭാഗ്യം വർധിക്കുന്നു. ധൂപദാനത്താൽ രാജ്യമഹിമ ലഭിക്കുന്നു; ദീപദാനത്താൽ തേജസ്സും ദീപ്തിയും പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
