संकल्पयित्वा वत्सं तु चाक्षुषं मनुमीश्वरम् । पृथुर्दुदोह सस्यानि स्वहस्ते पृथिवीं ततः
saṃkalpayitvā vatsaṃ tu cākṣuṣaṃ manumīśvaram | pṛthurdudoha sasyāni svahaste pṛthivīṃ tataḥ
ചാക്ഷുഷ മനുവിനെ വത്സമായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച്, മഹാരാജാവ് പൃഥു തന്റെ കൈയെ തന്നെ പാത്രമാക്കി ഭൂമിയെ ദോഹിച്ചു; അതിൽ നിന്ന് ധാന്യശസ്യങ്ങൾ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു।
