goṣpadaṃ nāma vikhyātaṃ koṭipāpaharaṃ nṛṇām | goṣpadasya samīpe tu nātidūre vyavasthitaḥ

അത് ‘ഗോഷ്പദം’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധം; മനുഷ്യരുടെ കോടി പാപങ്ങൾ ഹരിക്കുന്നതു. ഗോഷ്പദത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്തുതന്നെ, അതിദൂരമല്ലാതെ, (മറ്റൊരു സാന്നിധ്യം) സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
