इति विष्णोर्वचः श्रुत्वा प्रार्थयामास दानवः । ममाख्या वर्त्तते लोके तथा कुरु महीधर
iti viṣṇorvacaḥ śrutvā prārthayāmāsa dānavaḥ | mamākhyā varttate loke tathā kuru mahīdhara
ഇങ്ങനെ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ വചനം കേട്ട് ദാനവൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു— “ഹേ മഹീധരാ! എന്റെ നാമം ലോകത്തിൽ നിലനിന്ന് പ്രസിദ്ധമാകുന്നവണ്ണം ചെയ്യുക।”
