ततश्चक्रे महायुद्धं तलेनातिभयंकरम् । जघान स तलं दैत्यं मुष्टिघातेन मस्तके
tataścakre mahāyuddhaṃ talenātibhayaṃkaram | jaghāna sa talaṃ daityaṃ muṣṭighātena mastake
പിന്നീട് തലനോടൊപ്പം അത്യന്തം ഭയങ്കരമായ മഹായുദ്ധം ആരംഭിച്ചു। ദേവൻ മുഷ്ടിഘാതംകൊണ്ട് ദൈത്യൻ തലയുടെ ശിരസ്സിൽ അടിച്ച് അവനെ സംഹരിച്ചു।
