देवादेशात्समायाता न निरोध्या गिरे त्वया । एवमुक्ते गिरिः प्राह तां देवीं सुमनोरमाम्
devādeśātsamāyātā na nirodhyā gire tvayā | evamukte giriḥ prāha tāṃ devīṃ sumanoramām
ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു—“ദേവാദേശപ്രകാരം ഞാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ഗിരേ, നീ എന്നെ തടയരുത്.” എന്നു അവൾ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, പർവതം ആ മനോഹര ദേവിയോട് സംസാരിച്ചു।
