देव्युवाच । पितुर्वधामर्षसुजात मन्युना यद्यत्कृतं कर्म पुरा महर्षिणा । दधीचिपुत्रेण सुरप्रसाधिना सर्वं श्रुतं तद्धि मया समाधिना
devyuvāca | piturvadhāmarṣasujāta manyunā yadyatkṛtaṃ karma purā maharṣiṇā | dadhīciputreṇa suraprasādhinā sarvaṃ śrutaṃ taddhi mayā samādhinā
ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു—പിതൃവധത്തിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന അമർഷജന്യ ക്രോധത്താൽ ദധീചിപുത്രനും ദേവകാര്യസാധകനുമായ ആ മഹർഷി പുരാതനകാലത്ത് ചെയ്ത കര്മ്മങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം ഞാൻ സമാധിയിൽ ശ്രവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
