ईश्वर उवाच । अथ ते कीर्तयिष्यामि रहस्यं स्थानमुत्तमम् । सर्वपापहरं नॄणामुन्नतस्थानवासिनाम्
īśvara uvāca | atha te kīrtayiṣyāmi rahasyaṃ sthānamuttamam | sarvapāpaharaṃ nṝṇāmunnatasthānavāsinām
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പരമ രഹസ്യവും ഉത്തമവുമായ ഒരു പുണ്യസ്ഥലം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ഉന്നതസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ സർവ്വപാപങ്ങളും അത് ഹരിക്കുന്നു।
