स तथेति प्रतिज्ञाय ददौ तेभ्यः पुरं वरम् । सप्तभौमैः शशांकाभैः प्रासादैः परिभूषितम् । नानाग्रामसमायुक्तं सर्वतः सीमयान्वितम्
sa tatheti pratijñāya dadau tebhyaḥ puraṃ varam | saptabhaumaiḥ śaśāṃkābhaiḥ prāsādaiḥ paribhūṣitam | nānāgrāmasamāyuktaṃ sarvataḥ sīmayānvitam
അദ്ദേഹം ‘തഥാസ്തു’ എന്നു പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് അവർക്കൊരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠ നഗരമുദാനം ചെയ്തു—ഏഴുനില, ചന്ദ്രപ്രഭപോലെ ദീപ്തമായ പ്രാസാദങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കൃതം, അനേകം ഗ്രാമങ്ങളോടു ചേർന്നത്, എല്ലാദിക്കിലും വ്യക്തമായ അതിരുകളാൽ യുക്തം.
