Transliteration

krīḍāṃ karoti vividhāṃ vanasaṃstho haradvipaḥ | tadrūpaṃ saṃparityajya rudro raudragajātmakam

Translation

വനത്തിൽ വസിച്ചിരുന്ന ഹരന്റെ ആ ആന പലവിധ ക്രീഡകൾ ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്ന് രൗദ്ര-ഗജസ്വരൂപം ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന രുദ്രൻ ആ രൂപം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് മറ്റൊരു പ്രകാശത്തിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങി.
