īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi tasyāḥ pūrveṇa saṃsthitam | nāradādityanāmānaṃ jarādāridryanāśanam

ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ മഹാദേവീ! തുടർന്ന് ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കുവശത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ‘നാരദ-ആദിത്യ’ എന്ന തീർത്ഥത്തിലേക്ക് പോകണം; അത് ജരയും ദാരിദ്ര്യവും നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു।
