ईश्वर उवाच । एवं स्नात्वा विधानेन दत्त्वार्घ्यं च महोदधौ । संपूज्य गंधपुष्पैश्च वस्त्रैः पुष्पावलेपनैः

Transliteration

īśvara uvāca | evaṃ snātvā vidhānena dattvārghyaṃ ca mahodadhau | saṃpūjya gaṃdhapuṣpaiśca vastraiḥ puṣpāvalepanaiḥ

Translation

ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഇങ്ങനെ വിധിപ്രകാരം സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിൽ അർഘ്യം അർപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം, സുഗന്ധം, പുഷ്പം, വസ്ത്രം, പുഷ്പലേപനം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ഭക്തിയോടെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി പൂജിക്കണം।
