ईश्वर उवाच । शृणुष्वावहिता भूत्वा पृष्टोऽहं यस्त्वयाऽधुना । निष्फलं तत्प्रवक्ष्यामि वस्तुतत्त्वं यथास्थितम्
īśvara uvāca | śṛṇuṣvāvahitā bhūtvā pṛṣṭo'haṃ yastvayā'dhunā | niṣphalaṃ tatpravakṣyāmi vastutattvaṃ yathāsthitam
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഏകാഗ്രമായി കേൾക്കുക. നീ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്, യഥാസ്ഥിതമായ വസ്തുതത്ത്വം ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; തെറ്റായ ഭാവത്തോടെ സമീപിച്ചാൽ അത് എങ്ങനെ നിഷ്ഫലമാകുന്നു എന്നും.
